The Business Challenge
The client wanted to build a modern community platform that could serve multiple cities simultaneously — connecting local businesses with their community through a single branded marketplace. Existing off-the-shelf marketplace software lacked the flexibility for multi-city architecture, local SEO at scale, and integrated modules for jobs, events, and classifieds.
The platform needed to support hundreds of business profiles, thousands of listings, and a growing user base across different cities — all while maintaining fast load times and strong local search rankings.
Beyond the technical architecture, the business challenge was really about trust and discoverability: every city added to the platform needed to feel like a native, locally relevant destination rather than a generic template page, or the marketplace would struggle to earn organic search rankings and repeat visits from local users.
Our Solution
Tech Vanta LLC designed and built WooWho Local from the ground up as a custom multi-city marketplace SaaS platform. We built separate city-level pages with unique SEO configurations, a powerful Elasticsearch search engine, and modular content types for businesses, jobs, events, and classifieds.
The platform includes a comprehensive admin dashboard for operators to manage all cities, categories, and user-generated content from a single backend — with full white-label capability.
